Glossary Terms I

Keeping people and terms straight is one of the challenges of writing a large series. Along with the compendium Lark's People, I keep a directory of places, things and terms.

I-Identify costume business run by Dumas and Frans Hardy with assistance from Louise.

IK.

Ike's Motor Services. A garage run by Ike. Peck Grene works there along with Stewie the apprentice. Close to Peckerdale Grene Tower. Chloe Fraser, her friend Jojo and Pen Swan get their cars serviced there. Ike himself is a pain in the neck.

IL.

Île d'eté.  Island of Summer. A large island in the star pin, inhabited mainly by courtfolk. The fourth island Betony visits in Betony Buys Adventure

Iris Jordana Dane’s first solo album

Iris’s wishing well (Hob calls it Mam’s wishing well), a well belonging to Iris Cottman, pure water that does as the user wishes.

Isle o’ Samhradh aka Summer Isle, Isle of Summer or Île d'eté.  An island in the archipelago Star Pin or Chain of Delight. An annex of the courtlands, it has forests, meadows, gardens and the Heart of Roses. Home of the de Libre family, and of Lisbeth and Rogier de Lin
