Forever Dance Studio

Forever Dance Studio Place Post 7

Forever is a dance studio on the third floor of Peckerdale Grene Community Tower. It was established quite recently when Hamish McTavish and Gervais St Clair left their military career with the joint aims of establishing a wife and expanding their horizons. They achieved the first aim rather smartly when they served as Best Men at their former commander's wedding. Faced with a need to earn a living doing something other than covert ops, they admitted they'd like to run a dance studio. As Gervais put its it when talking to florist Flori Alexandris, "Hamish can teach Scottish character dance and I, believe it or not, am pretty good at courtly dance."
Hamish is a bit more cautious, saying, "You know what people with think if a couple o' men open a dance studio."
Flori puts his mind at rest. "They won't. I'll be on hand to kiss you both at every public opportunity. Not in a gal-pal way, either."
As of 2018, Forever has been running only a year or so, but it already attracts pupils and teachers and the men plan to run a mixed dance troupe eventually.

Forever Dance Studio is founded in Floribunda and the Best Men

ABOUT THE BLOG

Sally is Sally Odgers; author, anthologist and reader. You can find you way into her maze of websites and blogs via the portal here.(Sally is me, by the way.)
The goal for 2017 was to write a post a day profiling the background behind one of my books; how it came to be written, what it's about, and any things of note that happened along the way. 2017 is well behind us, but I ran out of year before running out of books. As of May 2018 I STILL hadn't run out of books, but many of those still to come are MIA by which I mean I don't have copies and remember little about them. There are more new books in the pipeline, and I'm certainly showcasing those, but in between times, I'm profiling some of my characters, places and objects. Thank you so much to everyone who's come along on this journey so far!
