Weava the Wilful Witch

Weava the Wilful Witch  2011 Post 311

Weava the Wilful Witch is the sixth of the Little Horrors series. In this one, Weava Charm is waiting for her invitation to the
Abademy. She refuses to go with her dad to Witchmeet because it won't be any fun without her sister, Merry. Her dad, Belfry, breaks it to her that Merry is no longer at Wand College. She has broken with the witch world and is now pretending to be human, using the name Mary Charm. When Weava goes to stay with her, Merry is determined to break Weava of using magic and to get her to befriend Jemima James, the unhappy child of a party-manager. Weave, along with her newly-acquired fetch, the kit-fae, is equally determined to reconvert Merry into the bad witch she was born to be. Along the way, she discovers exactly why Merry was trying to live human...

ABOUT THE BLOG

Sally is Sally Odgers; author, manuscript assessor, editor, anthologist and reader. She runs http://www.affordablemanuscriptassessments.com and Prints Charming Books. (Sally is me, by the way, and I am lots of other things too, but these are the relevant ones for now.)

The goal for 2017 is to write a post a day profiling the background behind one of my books; how it came to be written, what it's about, and any things of note that happened along the way. If you're an author, an aspiring author, a reader or just someone who enjoys windows into worlds, you might find this fun. The books are not in any special order, but will be assigned approximate dates, and pictures, where they exist. If you enjoyed a post, or want to ask about any of my books or my manuscript assessment service.
