Silly Ass is a companion to Mini Pigs, starring the same family.

This one comes first, detailing how Sam and her family came to Penstone Lea and moved into a neglected house. It has a paddock at the back, and Sam and Mardi and their friend Rachel clear it out. Sam petitions for a horse, but instead, Mum and Dad get her a donkey. Donkey, like many of her kind, has a sense of humour and a weird way of doing things. The family concludes she is a silly ass. Sam still wants a horse, but when she goes to Rachel's place to ride Rachel's horse, she finds the horse does many of the same things Donkey does, and other, less endearing things... Okay, so Donkey is a silly ass, but the family loves her. Lollicat is not so sure...
